A. No. The Drill Cool system is a closed loop system.

Q. Do my rig pumps need to feed your cooling unit?
A. No. These cooling units come with their own 40hp mud pump and operate independently of the rigs' mud pit system.

Q. What are the power requirements for a Geo-Cooler?
A. 480-volt, 100 amp, 3 phase. One connection per cooler.

Q. Can the Geo-Coolers operate in a hazardous area?
A. Yes. We have Class 1, Div. 2 on all electrical panels, and explosion-proof motors.

Q. What is the footprint of the Geo-Cooler?
A. Please refer to the spec sheet for the cooler of interest on our Coolers page.

Q. How much fresh water do the Geo-Coolers use?
A. Anywhere from 3 to 6 GPM. This is dependant upon the ambient temperature and atmosphere.
